UFC Aerospace acquires BAS Aerospace

Bay Shore, New York - October 25, 2005 UFC Aerospace Corp. announced today it has completed the purchase of BAS Aerospace, the aerospace products division of BAS Components Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TT electronics plc (London Stock Exchange: TTG). BAS Aerospace, located in Sevenoaks, England, is a niche manufacturer, kitting specialist and stocking distributor of precision fasteners and machined components, supplying the European commercial aerospace market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

BAS Aerospace is a valued supplier to many of Europe’s premier aerospace OEMs, including Rolls-Royce, Honeywell, BAE Systems, GKN, Airbus and Goodrich. The company manufactures standard and made-to-print fasteners and machined components in its 26,000 square foot facility located approximately 35 miles southeast of London. BAS Aerospace also serves as a stocking distributor and kitting specialist to its largest OEM customers. Going forward, BAS Aerospace will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of UFC Aerospace.
